The VX™ Deluxe is powered by a Yamaha MR-1™ four-stroke engine. This is a compact, ultra-lightweight, four-cylinder, 1052cc, DOHC, 20-valve, liquid-cooled engine for class-leading performance.
Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI): Delivers a smooth, high power output with low fuel consumption and low exhaust emissions.
Slant Detection Switch: Electronic switch stops engine and oil pumps immediately if watercraft becomes overturned, protecting motor from water ingestion.
Thermostatic and Pressure Controlled Cooling System: Water flow through the engine is controlled by a thermostat and pressure system and is maintained by a pressure control valve.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q- How old do I need to be to rent / sign the contract?
A- We require that the person signing the contract is 21 years of age or older.

Q- Can I send my credit card with someone else and have them pick up the Wave Runners for me?
A- No. The card holder has to come to pick the Wave Runners up because they have to sign the contract.

Q- Can I use cash for the deposit?
A- No. Credit Card only. Cash will be accepted for the rental fee only.

Q- How long will it take for the hold on my credit / debit card to drop off?
A- Typically it takes an average of 4 - 10 business days for the hold to be released back to your card. This is something that we have no control over.

Q- Can you deliver the Wave runners to the lake for me?
A- Yes. There is a delivery charge, please call for more information.

Q- Do I need to carry my own insurance?
A- Yes. Rental insurance is almost non-existent in our industry. Call your home owners or auto insurance and make arrangement for your duration of the rental period.

Terms and Conditions

General Requirements
Action Motor Sport Rentals LLC will only rent its equipment to persons 21 years of age or older with a valid drivers license, which must be presented at the time of pickup. You will be required to sign a release waiver at tme of pick up.
Price Guarantee
We will match any Utah competitor’s current printed brochure or website prices. If you find a lower printed price on the same kind of rental equipment, we will match that price and drop ours by $1 per day.
Reservation Deposit
A reservation deposit of $25 per unit is required to reserve the equipment for the dates you select. This deposit will be credited towards the final retail price at the time of the pick-up. The reservation deposit is non-refundable due to the limited season and the heavy demands for the rental equipment. Reservation deposit’s can be paid over the phone. We accept Visa, Master card, and Discover. No checks will be accepted.

Sales Tax
6.85% sales tax will be collected on all rentals.

Damage Deposit
All rentals require a damage security deposit when you pick up the equipment, of $1000.
All damage deposits will be authorized by credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover) or cash deposit at the time of rental pick-up. This deposit will be refunded 100% if the equipment is returned clean and undamaged-excepting normal wear and tear-with all inventories intact. We do not accept checks.
Items that are lost, stolen or not returned will be charged at full retail price.
A minimum charge of $25 will be applied to each item returned damaged or dirty. Any other damage or cleaning fees are left up to the discretion of Action Motor Sport Rentals.
If water craft brought back damaged and in need of repair, you will be charged full rental price for every day that it is unavailable to rent out.
A preoperative of Action Motor Sport Rentals will inspect each piece of equipment before departure for prior damage. We strongly advise you to perform your own inspection as well. Please be thorough, as you will be responsible for any damage found upon your return.

Equipment Check In and Pick Up
Equipment check out can begin as early as 7:00am, at the beginning of your rental period. It may be possible to pick up your equipment at 6:00 pm the day before your rental period, if the equipment is available. All equipment must be returned no later than 6:00pm on the final day of rental period to avoid late fees. Any rental returned 15 minutes late (after 6:15pm) will be assessed a late charge of½ day rental for each piece of equipment rented.
Action Motor Sport Rentals is a rental company, we do not sell fuel. We will deliver the equipment with a full tank of gas. It is expected that the equipment will be returned with a full tank of fuel. $5.00 per gallon will be assessed if the tank is not full.
No refunds will be given for early and unused returns. All participants must read and sign a liability release waiver and acknowledgement of risk form releasing Action Motor Sport Rentals, and employees from all liability.

Cancellation policy
We assume no responsibility for weather conditions or other conditions which may arise which prevents the renter or others from using the equipment for the dates they reserved.
Cancellations greater then 14 days before the beginning of you rental period are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% processing fee.
Cancellations less than 14 days before your rental period begins will be charged the FULL AMOUNT.

Insurance
Rental insurance for recreational equipment is close to non-existent in our industry. Please check with your insurance agent about adding insurance to be covered for the duration of your rental, from your homeowner’s policy, if you are not already covered.
